Transforming Living Spaces at VMRC
2.5 Years in the Making
After 2.5 years of dedicated work at VMRC, we are proud to announce the completion of two magnificent quadplexes. These units are the fourth consecutive project we have undertaken at VMRC, replacing outdated residences with modern living spaces. Ranging from 1,537 to 2,258 square feet, each quadplex consists of 2 single-story units and 2 loft units.
Customizable Units with Personal Touches
The one-level units boast vaulted ceilings and an open-floor concept for the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with custom cabinetry featuring pull-out trays for easy access, along with front-controlled ranges. These units are specifically designed for individuals who wish to age in place comfortably. With a seamless flooring transition and no thresholds, the units ensure a safe and accessible living environment. The primary bedroom offers ample space and features an adjustable freedom rail shelving system in the closet. The primary bathroom includes heated floors and a barrier-free roll-in shower, further prioritizing accessibility. Each unit is uniquely personalized with residents' choices of cabinetry, flooring, paint color, and decorative lighting.
Loft Units With Mountain Views
Moving on to the loft units, most of the features from the one-level units are carried over with the open-floor concept. The kitchen in these units features white cabinets, distinctive appliances, and varied lighting options, reflecting the residents' individual tastes. The primary bedroom and bathroom maintain a similar layout as the single-level units, but with finishes chosen by the occupants, adding their personal touch. Notably, the loft area offers breathtaking views of the Massanutten mountain range. This space includes an additional bedroom, a full bathroom, and an upper deck, providing a sanctuary for relaxation and admiration of the surroundings.
As you step outside to view the units' exteriors, you'll appreciate the generous garage space available for each unit.
A Valued Partnership
Greg Nesselrodt, Director of Construction, with VMRC stated that, “Harman Construction, represented by Scott Tennyson and Kevin Campbell, has been a valuable partner throughout this project. Their collaboration with VMRC spans over two and a half years, completing four consecutive projects on the VMRC campus. The future holds exciting prospects for continued partnerships with Harman Construction.”
