PROJECT SCOPE:

IN 2019, HCI used our Design Build model to procure a renovation and new approximately 23,407 sq/ft pre-engineered metal building gymnasium addition, approximately 5,350 sq/ft of renovations to the existing space and related site development. HCI installed a brick exterior and similar window style to blend in with the existing buildings and gym. Butler’s MR-24 standing seam metal roof was used on the 3/12 pitched roof.

On the interior, finishes included a seamless polyurethane dual durometer multi-purpose flooring system in the Gym and Weight Room. Impact resistant drywall was installed on the walls of the gym and storefront windows utilized for natural light. A regulation full court basketball court runs the length of the gym with two smaller courts running across the full court. Two track lanes were added around the full court and bleachers on each side.

A Warming Kitchen sits adjacent to the Gym while the Weight Room overlooks the Gym from the 2nd floor and the Archives Room occupies the 3rd floor space. An elevator was also installed to access the 2nd and 3rd floors. Renovations to the Locker Rooms were performed along with creating a Conference Room for 49 and a Training / Laundry Room in the existing building.
