EMERGENCY RESPONSE STATION
Harman Construction, Inc. provided Design Build services to construct a new Emergency Station for Rockingham County. The project includes (5) Apparatus Bays with Overhead Doors on each side, Large Wash Bay, Gear Room, Community Hall with seating for approx. 200 people, Full Commercial Kitchen and Serving Room, (10) Bunk Rooms, Large Training Room, (6) Offices, Fitness Room, Lounge and Dining Area for staff. Interior finishes included epoxy flooring in the Apparatus Bays, LVT and Carpet Tile in the living quarters, office areas and Community Hall, Quarry Tile in the Bathrooms and Ceramic Tile in the Community Hall Kitchen. Exterior finishes included splitface block and Butler Fineline panels at the Apparatus Bays and a combination of manufactured stone, hardie plank lap siding and corrugated metal panel at the front of the living quarters and transitions to Butler Shadowall on the sides and back of the building.
